Labor Day Weekend is quickly coming upon us and, to those who don’t yet have camping plans, consider this! It might not be too late to fix that!

Labor Day isn’t quite a crazy-busy as you might assume! So, if you don’t yet have camping plans in place for this upcoming weekend, we suggest you reach out to places that appeal to you and see what might be available.

Sometimes parks have cancellations, and the lucky next-caller gets to be the one to fill it.

Some parks are just removed enough from the mainstream that they don’t have quite the demand for their spaces.

Sometimes RV sites are filled up while glamping yurts, vacation rental cabins, tent sites, and other lodging options have availability.

In any case, Labor Day Weekend just might be the right time for you to venture out again!

Empty-nesters, we know many of you wait until after Labor Day to go camping, but you don’t need to wait quite that long, especially when you go farther from the urban areas.

Give it a try! Our Find a Campground page makes it easier to narrow the list of campground to those which best suit your preferences (location, type of campsite, and so forth).

We’d love to see some of your camping pictures this Saturday night! By the way, you’ll find us online here (especially Facebook since our team monitors that even on holiday weekends):

Let’s each do our part to keep the Colorado’s night sky well observed, to prepare s’mores around Colorado campfires, to explore Colorado trails, and to create more Colorado camping memories!

While you’re there, please wish the staff a Happy Labor Day from CampColorado. They work hard at their jobs!
