Blue Mesa Outpost overlooks the largest body of water in Colorado, Blue Mesa Reservoir.
Each of the cabins and campsites envelope you with gorgeous views of Blue Mesa Reservoir and the surrounding Rocky Mountains of Gunnison. Ten of their RV sites are pull-through and face the reservoir or mesa. The RV sites are 25 feet wide, and range in length from 80 to 100 feet.
The cabins sleep four to six people, and they overlook the reservoir. The tent sites also overlook the reservoir.
The reservoir boasts some of the best trout and salmon fishing in Colorado.
Blue Mesa Outpost is located just one mile from boat ramps.
The park is 25 miles west of downtown Gunnison, and 35 miles east of Montrose.
